Len Golod

Managing Director

 

After immigrating to US in 1979, Mr. Golod studied Computer Science/Information Systems at Seton Hall and Boston Universities. His corporate career in Information Technology began in 1985. Working at Digital Equipment Corporation, Baine & Co. and Constell Group in various IT roles he gained valuable understanding of Information Systems and its business applications. Mr. Golod's career change took place in 1989, when he was asked to help the recruiting efforts for Constell Group. Soon thereafter he was invited to join New Boston Associates and later Sulllivan & Cogliano, prominent Executive Search firms in the Boston area. His clients there included Fidelity Investments, Bank of New England, Digital Equipment Corp, Bank of Boston and others.

 

Mr. Golod joined Datacom Technology Group in 1990 placing Financial, Technology and Executive level professionals with DTG's Global 500 clients. Progressing from the firm's top recruiter position he is now the Managing Director of DTG's Finance, Capital Markets and Executive Placements practice.

 

Drawing on long-term relationships in the financial, technology and academic/scientific communities, his practice maintains the highest business ethics, professionalism and discretion. Mr. Golod concentrates on placements of Financial Engineers/Quantitative Analysts, Strategists/Traders, and IT staff supporting Trading and Research, working on contingent and retainer searches for a number of highly regarded buy and sell-side clients in US, Europe and Asia. His client list includes most top Investment Banks and many prominent Hedge Funds and Money Management firms.

 

Aside from bringing professional expertise to DTG, Mr. Golod's various interests - family (enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters), music (clarinet/saxophone aficionado and player), sports (tennis, soccer) and reading (fiction and industry-related publications) - allow him to find a common ground with clients and candidates of various backgrounds.
